Borelli's Dance Gallery celebrates their 27th year of business in the Bethel Park community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dana and Pam, owners and artistic directors, were just over 20 years old when they made the move to open up their own local dance studio.
It started when Dana and Pam began dancing in the competitive scene during childhood. They then went on to form their own local dance group, with whom they performed at public and private events, including parades, parties, entertainment sites and local community events. In high school, they each were captain of Seton-La-Salle's dance squad, the Rebelettes. They began teaching over thirty years ago, both by their local dance studio and by giving private dance lessons out of their household garage. Their professional credits include a Bachelors of the Arts in Dance from Point Park College, and a B.A. in Business Accounting from Duquesne University. They have danced professionally in Pittsburgh as well as New York City, and even traveled as far as Germany for the arts. From there, they opened their first school in Mount Lebanon in 1991. Due to large success and need for expansion, Borelli's Dance Gallery re-located to the current facility in Bethel Park.
Both artistic directors have been dancing for over forty years and in business for 27.
For the first day of season 27's summer classes, the studio had a surprise celebration for the students. The studio was decorated in all black and gold (BDG's colors), with fun activities, giveaways, treats, and more! A wonderful kick-off event that lasted several weeks.
