This is the fifth consecutive summer that Borelli's Dance Gallery has hosted their BDG Princess Camps. With about three camps each summer, the studio has held on average twelve to fifteen students for three hours a day, four weekdays per camp. The camps consist of fun activities, including games, dance and gymnastic lessons, themed crafts, and snack time. Each camp is themed after a Disney Princess. At the end of the camp, a chosen Princess comes to the studio to meet the kids and watch their special performance!
The goal of the princess camps are to provide a fun environment for young kids while teaching them dance skills and life lessons. The studio hopes that their princess camp is a way for the kids to grow a level of higher self confidence by learning to dance and feeling like a princess, all while learning about teamwork and making friendships.
Programs are offered only in the summer, and is available for a child of any age.
For more information, see the Princess Camp page on the BDG website.
It seems that each year, the BDG Princess Camps become more successful. This is definitely an annual program that the studio plans to keep around for awhile.
