BDG welcomes back former student EJ Ferencak

October 13, 2017

EJ was a competitive dancer at Borelli's Dance Gallery, competing both nationally and regionally. Upon graduating, he has taught tap and hip hop classes at the studio, as well as choreography for all ages of our company. Just next weekend, EJ will be returning to BDG.

EJ Ferencak, a Pittsburgh native, has been training and dancing since the age of eight. Growing up as a competition kid, he won numerous regional and national titles. EJ has always been a well-rounded artist with training in dance, acting and singing.

At the age of sixteen, EJ had the distinct honor of bringing home the bronze medal for the U.S.A. in the IDO World Dance Championships. Some of his professional credits include appearing in such feature films as “Adventureland” and “The Dark Knight Rises.” EJ also performed with Aaron Carter at the International Children’s Games, had starring roles in episodes of Amazing News filmed by KEI of New York and appeared as a finalist on Fox’s hit T.V. “Show So You Think You Can Dance.” In 2010, EJ was ranked 8th in the world at the IDO Hip Hop Championships. He also stays busy teaching master classes for colleges, dance conventions and national dance competitions.
