Our Story

At Borelli’s Dance Gallery, we believe choosing a dance studio is about more than classes — it’s about choosing the people who will help shape your child’s life.

As dancers ourselves, we understand the commitment this art form requires. Competitive dancers, especially, spend countless hours in the studio, often with their teachers as much as they are at home or school. That’s why we’ve built our studio around something deeper than dance training: trust, mentorship, and family. Every child who walks through our doors is supported not just as a dancer, but as a person.

Our journey began long before we opened our doors in 1991. We both started dancing at the age of three at a local studio, where we first dreamed of becoming teachers. Over the years, we earned regional and national titles, performed throughout the Pittsburgh area, and gained experience coaching, performing, and training at the highest levels. Dana went on to earn a degree in dance from Point Park University and cheer professionally, while Pamela toured internationally with the Pittsburgh Ballet Opera Theatre.

When we first opened Borelli’s Dance Gallery in Mt. Lebanon, we started with no students — just a passion for dance and the unwavering support of our family. From those humble beginnings, we built our studio one relationship at a time. Through hard work, community support, and a commitment to excellence, we quickly grew into one of the most respected and successful studios in the Pittsburgh area.

Today, our state-of-the-art facility in Bethel Park is home to multiple studios, a dedicated staff, and a legacy of regional and national champions. But what truly sets us apart isn’t our accolades — it’s our heart. We are, and always will be, a family-run studio.

That means we take an extra step that many studios don’t. We care deeply about who your child becomes, not just how they perform. Our instructors are not only highly trained professionals — they are role models, mentors, and positive influences who are committed to creating a safe, encouraging environment for every student. We believe dance should shape well-rounded individuals — young men and women who carry the lessons they learn here into every part of their lives.

At Borelli’s, students don’t just gain skills — they gain lifelong friendships, a support system, and a place they can always call home. Our alumni return to visit, teach, and even enroll their own children, continuing the legacy and strengthening the bonds that began here. That sense of connection and belonging is what makes our studio truly special.

We are incredibly grateful for the families, dancers, and staff who have made this journey possible. Borelli’s Dance Gallery is not just our studio — it’s a part of who we are.

We are honored to welcome your family into ours.
